Bale My Land ("we," "us") introduces Texas landowners to hay producers, ranchers, beekeepers, farmers and wildlife management providers ("producers"). This page explains what information we collect, why, and who we share it with. We keep it short and plain on purpose.
What we collect
- From landowners: your name, email, phone, the county and approximate location of your property, acreage, current land use and land cover, the agricultural uses you are open to, whether it has water, fencing and gate access, whether it currently has an agricultural valuation, and any notes you add.
- From producers: your name, operation name, email, phone, what you run (hay, livestock, bees, crops or wildlife management services), the counties you serve, your minimum acreage, details such as equipment, livestock, hive counts, crops or services, the arrangements you typically offer, whether you asked to join the Premium interest list, and any notes you add.
- How you found us: if you arrived from a link that carries campaign tags (for example from an ad or one of our emails), a Google ad click ID, or another website, your browser keeps that for up to 30 days and sends it with your form so we know which outreach works. We don't use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
- Technical information: our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard request data such as IP address and browser type to deliver the site and block abuse. If spam protection is turned on, Cloudflare Turnstile checks whether a form was submitted by a person.
How we use it
- To find possible matches between landowners and producers.
- To contact you about your submission and any potential match, and, if you joined the Premium interest list, to tell you when Premium opens.
- To keep records of introductions and any placement fee owed.
- To prevent spam and abuse of our forms.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for unrelated advertising.
Who we share it with
- Potential matches. When you check the consent box, you agree that we may share your name, contact details, and the property or operation details you gave us with the other side of a potential match. We share only what's needed for the introduction.
- Service providers who help us run the site, such as our hosting and database provider, under their own privacy terms.
- When required by law, such as in response to a valid legal request.
How long we keep it
We keep submissions while we are actively trying to make a match and for a reasonable period after, so we can keep records of introductions and fees. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Email us at hello@balemyland.com to see, correct, or delete the information we have about you, or to stop hearing from us.
Children
This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above. Significant changes will be posted on this page.
